VIAINDUSTRIAE and Mahler & LeWitt Studios are pleased to announce an Open Call opportunity for an artist, writer or curator to join our new residency session, organised in collaboration with poet Rachael Allen, for up to 4 weeks between 26 August and 30 September 2020. As part of the residency opportunity, the awardee will develop a display of artist’s books and ephemera, relating to their own practice and the broader concerns of the residency session, using the VIAINDUSTRIAE archive, collection of artist’s books and documents on the history of contemporary art.
WORD PLAY: Art & Poetry is a part of the Art & Poetry residency session: a research focussed program exploring the dynamic relationship between poetry, experimental writing and the visual and performing arts. The 2020 residency session will be followed by a second, related residency session in 2021, which will incorporate a symposium.

VIAINDUSTRIAE e Mahler & LeWitt Studios sono lieti di annunciare il seguente bando rivolto a un/a artista, scrittore/scrittrice o curatore/curatrice per partecipare alla nostra nuova sessione di residenza, organizzata in collaborazione con la poetessa Rachael Allen, per una durata di quattro settimane tra il 26 agosto e il 30 settembre 2020. Come parte dell’opportunità di residenza, il vincitore svilupperà una mostra di libri d’artista ed ephemera, relativi alla propria pratica e al contesto della residenza, utilizzando l’archivio VIAINDUSTRIAE e la sua collezione di libri e documenti d’artista sulla storia dell’arte contemporanea.
WORD PLAY: Art & Poetry fa parte della sessione di residenza Art & Poetry: un programma incentrato sulla ricerca che esplora la relazione dinamica tra poesia, scrittura sperimentale e arti visive e performative. La sessione di residenza 2020 sarà seguita da una seconda sessione di residenza correlata nel 2021, che includerà un simposio.
